I am often asked whether I am AliExpress or if I do dropshipping. That’s why, in this blog, I want to clarify what my role is and the difference between a dropshipper and what I do as an affiliate marketer.

What is a Dropshipper?

A dropshipper is someone who sells products without having a physical inventory. When you place an order with a dropshipper, they purchase the product from a supplier (for example, on AliExpress) and ship it directly to you. This way, a dropshipper makes money by selling the product at a higher price than they paid. However, this often means that customers pay more than if they had purchased directly from AliExpress.

Additionally, dropshippers do not always have control over product quality or delivery times, as they depend on external suppliers. This can lead to misunderstandings or disappointments among customers who believe they are buying from a local business, while in reality, the shipment comes from China.

What do I do?

I am not a dropshipper and do not sell products. Instead, I am an affiliate marketer. This means that I write informative blogs about products available on AliExpress. When you make a purchase through a link on my blog, I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. This helps me maintain my website and continue creating useful content for users.

My goal is to inform and help people with their purchases on AliExpress so that they know what to look for, which products are reliable, and how to shop smartly. I also offer support for those who have questions about their orders and strive to be as transparent as possible about how AliExpress works.

Why is this distinction important?

There is a lot of confusion about dropshipping and affiliate marketing. Many people believe that if they buy a product through an external website, they are automatically purchasing from a dropshipper. This is not true. When you buy a product through my site, you are purchasing directly from AliExpress, not from an intermediary who inflates the price.

Additionally, I do not provide customer service on behalf of AliExpress, but I share my knowledge and experience to help consumers with their orders. This means I have no control over shipments, returns, or disputes with sellers, but I can explain the best way to handle such situations.

Summary

  • I am not AliExpress – I do not work for AliExpress and do not manage orders.
  • I am not a dropshipper – I do not sell products or maintain inventory.
  • I am an affiliate marketer – I help people by sharing useful information and earn a commission if someone buys a product through my link.

I hope this information helps you better understand what I do. If you have any questions about shopping on AliExpress, leave a comment!
